Reghin is crossed by the Tirgu Mures – Deda railway, by the European roads E15 Tirgu Mures – Toplita, E15/A Reghin – Bistrita, by the National Road 16 Reghin – Cluj-Napoca and by the modernized county roads Reghin – Lapusna and Reghin – Sovata.
The town is situated at the crossing of two old axes of heavy traffic, one on the Mures valley (Tirgu-Mures – Reghin – Deda – Toplita) and the other on the Gurghiu Valley towards the Transylvanian Plain (Lapusna – Gurghiu – Reghin – Craiesti).
The town is situated at 32 km away from Tirgu Mures, 102 km from Cluj-Napoca, 63 km from Bistrita, 70 km from Toplita, 40 km from Sovata, 42 km from Lapusna and 14 km from Batos.
